We had a great guided tour on a beautiful stretch of the Colorado River. The scenery was amazing and we were even able to take a short hike halfway through our trip. The kids thought it was one of the best parts of the trip and we would definitely do it again! If you want a tour that provides personal attention for your group, Way To Moab is the place to go.
Joseph was wonderful to work with – very flexible and accommodating regarding everything from inquiring about options, timing for our outing and even letting our dog come along for the rafting trip!
Joe was super nice. He had a cooler of drinks and snacks for us. Family had a fun time swimming in the rapids. We will be coming back again!
We had a large family group, and this trip was absolutely excellent! Joe brought along kayaks and a river raft for all of our family members to be together.
Excellent education and knowledge of the River, and told very historical information about Moab, and the river. Joe made sure that our large group of family members had an excellent time, got a chance to float in the river, splash around and play. He was very informative about rules and safety before we got on the river so that we all understood how to be safe and have fun on the river.
We just did a rafting tour in Moab on the Colorado River with Jo, owner of Way 2 Moab, and had a fantastic time. We’d done our research on rafting tours beforehand, and Way 2 Moab is nothing like the typical “load thirty people onto a school bus” operation. Jo and his main man Chris took our family of four on a memorable, personalized trip down the Colorado. Jo is incredibly knowledgeable about the river, Moab, and the surrounding area. The trip struck the perfect balance: relaxing stretches mixed with real fun on the rapids. Highly recommend if you want a more intimate, expert-led rafting experience.
We were looking for a Colorado River rafting tour near Moab that felt more personal and less like being packed in with a large group of random people, and Way To Moab was exactly what we were hoping for. We were so happy with the experience.
Joe was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, knew the best places to stop, and made sure we had plenty of opportunities to get out and swim in the rapids. Our kids had an absolute blast, especially “riding the bull” on the front of the raft through the rapids.
We would highly recommend Way To Moab, particularly for families looking for a more personalized rafting experience with a fun, relaxed, small-group atmosphere.
My wife, dad and I had an incredible time on the water with Addie. When I called to inquire about a relaxing float trip, Joe listened attentively and took excellent care of us. Even better, Joe recommended a cozy place to stay right next door, The Rustic Inn. Everything was perfect. Addie and Chris, our driver, shuttled us to and from the river, gave us unforgettable memories and a glimpse into the area’s rich history. This was undoubtedly a highlight of our entire trip.
Joseph at Way to Moab outfitter & company is awesome! We paid them for a shuttle from Sandy Beach Landing to Onion Creek Landing for a 3 hour float down the Colorado River. He told us about the cool geological, local movie filming and historical insights. 5x Class II rapids were fun and splashy in our inflatable kayaks (duckies). Super easy to communicate and text about plans 🙂 Highly recommend for commercial river trips or private shuttles!
It was an awesome experience! Joe was an incredibly knowledgeable and FUN guide. It was a very hot day and Joe had plenty of snacks and drinks for us and patiently waited while we swam and floated in the river to cool off. Next time we will take a longer trip!
Fantastic trip all the way through. The guide was a wealth of knowledge and you can truly tell how passionate they are to be out there on the river. 11 out of 10, would highly recommend and will absolutely be back!
